What is CBD? The United States Patented it in 2003 by: Lone Star Green CBD

Cannabidiol is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of some 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants and accounts for up to 40% of the plant's extract. In 2018, clinical research on cannabidiol included preliminary studies of anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.

In 2003 the United States Government filed the Patent "Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants" Patent #6630507 B1. With this patent, they explicitly state "Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, making cannabinoids useful in treatment of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants".."treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and dementia"

There are thousands of products that can be made with CBD (Cannabidol) and in the next few years, the CBD industry is going to grow. You will soon see CBD as a household brand item in every store, sold in many products like coffee and teas, shampoos, soaps, lotions, etc.

CBD essentially is medical marijuana without the high levels of thc. Without high levels of thc, you can't get high. There are tons of cannabinoids within hemp and cannabis plants and similar to flavanoids, canabinoids have different profiles and effects.
